Policy Health and Safety Committee

This course will provide participants the knowledge and understanding of the concept of corporate-wide health and safety policy committees. The purpose of policy committees is to address issues that cannot be dealt with by local health and safety committees. Topics covered include the internal responsibility system, roles and responsibilities of employers, workplace health and safety committees and representatives, concepts of OHS law and due diligence, implementing and monitoring the hazard prevention program and effective committees.
